The instability of mixing in the Kuramoto model coupled phase oscillators is key to understanding a range spatiotemporal patterns, which feature prominently collective dynamics systems ranging from neuronal networks, lasers, power grids. In this paper, we describe codimension–2 bifurcation whose unfolding, addition classical scenario onset synchronization, also explains formation clusters and chimeras. We use combination linear stability analysis Penrose diagrams identify analyze variety patterns including stationary traveling coherent twisted states, as well their combinations with regions incoherent behavior called chimera states. are used locate determine its type. analysis, on other hand, yields velocity distribution pattern emerging bifurcation.
